Roman Goddess of War
After two years of making costumes for my husband I wanted to know what it felt like to wield the power of a costume on stage. The SPL 2016 skin stood out to me with its nods to Ancient Rome, and don't forget that huge sword.

The breastplate was made from Worbla to get it a rigid structure and also act as a corset in the back, laced with leather cord.
The rest of the armor was made using mostly EVA foam with worbla formed spikes and some worbla details. Armor was attached using velcro straps and velcro on the backs of pieces to secure them in place.
